To access the Yandex Mailbox with MacSonik Yandex Backup Tool, the user must Enable the IMAP for Accessing the Yandex Mail account.
Step 1: Click here to visit the login page of the Yandex Mail Account.
Step 2: After that, tap the Profile and choose Account Management.
Step 3: Here, find the Passwords and Authorization option and click over it.
Step 4: Now, click on the App Password under the passwords and authorization option.
Step 5: You will get a pop-up, click on the button Create a new Password.
Step 6: Choose the Mail option and enter the name. (You can enter any name as per own choice) Also, click the Create button.
Step 7: Finally, you have created the app password of the Yandex Mail account. Click on the Done button.
Follow the below-listed steps to enable IMAP Access in the Yandex Mail account.
Step 1: Sign In to your Yandex Mail account.
Step 2: From the Mailbox wizard, tap on the Gear option and choose Other.
Step 3: Now, click on the Email Clients option from the left-side navigation.
Step 4: Here, tick the option From the imap.yandex.com server via IMAP. Also, tap the Save Changes button.
