MacSonik Hotmail Email Backup Software Guide

Download and install the MacSonik Hotmail Backup Tool. Run it as an administrator.

It displays two options: Sign in Hotmail Account and Sign in to Office 365 Email. Select Sign in Hotmail Account.

Enter the login credentials (Email Address and Password ) to log in to your Hotmail account and press the Sign in button.

Select the required folders and click Next to proceed.

Now it displays two options: Save in File Format and Migrate in Email Client. Select Save in File Format.

Select PDF from the drop-down menu of the Select File Format option.

You can opt for the following options

• As per its name if you want to remove duplicate emails based on different parameters then you can select Skip Duplicate Mail based on To, From, Subject, and Body.
• Select Save Attachments in Separate Folder if you want to save all your attachment files in a separate folder. Or
• If you want to export your emails without attachment files then you can opt for the Migrate or Backup Emails without Attachment files option.
• Select Free Up Server Space to delete all the emails after the migration.

You can also select the following options as per your requirements.

• The Save contacts in CSV format option is used to save all contacts present in your Hotmail account in CSV format.
• You can select the Date Filter option that helps you filter your emails based on the specified Start Date and End Date.
• It helps you to customize the resultant file by Naming Convention option.

There after, press Next to proceed.

Browse the destination path of the resultant file by the Save Path option.

At last, you can download your file by clicking the Download option.

Select MBOX from the drop-down menu of Select File Format.

There are a few options that you can select as per your requirements.

• This tool allows you to Skip Duplicate Emails based on To, From, Subject, and Body.
• It also offers you the Migrate or Backup Emails(s) without attachment File(s) option if you don't want your attachment files after the migration.
• You can Free up Server Space after migrating the Hotmail.

Other options and filters for you.

• It can Save contacts in CSV Formats if you enable this option.
• This tool has a Date Filter feature that can filter your emails when you enter the Start Date and End Date.

Press Next to proceed further with the process.

Browse the location of the output file by pressing the Save Path button.

Finally, you can download your output file by clicking the Download button.

Select Migrate in Email Client option to migrate Hotmail to Gmail.

Select Gmail from the list of Select Email Format.

Enter the login Email ID and Password and click Sign In. you can also select Login with Moden Authentication.

There are options and filters that you can select.

• There is a Date Filter feature that helps you to filter your emails based on Start Date and End Date.
• You can enable the Migrate or Backup Emails without Attachments Files(s) option if you want.

There are additional features for you.

• It has a Skip duplicate Emails feature that removes emails based on To, From, Subject, and Body.
• All the emails will be deleted after the migration by using the Free Up Server Space option.

Press Next to proceed with the migration process.

Finally, you can Download your resultant file.

Launch the MacSonik Hotmail Backup Tool.

It displays two options: Sign in Hotmail Account and Sign In to Office 365 Email. Opt to Sign In to Office 365 Email option.

Enter Hotmail Credentials( Email Address ). And click Sign In. You can also select the Login with Modern Authentication option.

After entering your credentials it will redirect you to the browser where a message will appear that says Authentication Successful. After that return to the tool.

You can select Primary Mailbox, Public Folder, or Online Archive as per your requirement. Press Next to proceed.

It previews the folders of the mail. You can select any folder that you want to convert. And then press Next.

Two options are provided to you: Save in File Format and Migrate in Email Client. Opt for Migrate in Email Client.

Select Office 365 from the drop-down list of Select Email Format option.

Enter the Email Address of the MS Office. And click Sign in. The Login with Modern Authentication is also a better option.

After entering your credentials it will redirect you to the browser where a message will appear that says Authentication Successful. After that return to the tool.

The following options help you to migrate Hotmail to Office 365 easily.

• The Start Date and End Date in the Date Range Filter feature helps you migrate the mails of specific dates.
• If you want to migrate emails without any attachment files then enable the Migrate or Backup Emails Without Attachment File(s) option.
• This tool helps you to Skip Duplicate Emails based on different parameters like To, From, Subject, and Body.

You can select Primary Mailbox, Public Folder,or Online Archive as per your requirement. Press Next to proceed.

Now you can download the resultant file by the Download button.
