As you launch the CDR Converter for Mac, you will find the screen displayed below:

Software Working Process


Stepwise Guide to Using MacSonik CDR File Converter to Convert CDR Files in Various Other Image File Formats. Do as directed:

Step 1

Download and Install the MacSonik CDR Converter tool on your Mac. Run it as an administrator.

You will see two options to add CDR files: Add File and Add Folder. Choose the Add File option to select a single CDR file and the Add Folder option to select a folder having any number of CDR files. We click on the Add File option.

Navigate to CDR files and select them. Click on Open to add files to the tool.

Now, in the list of selected CDR files, you can see the Name, Size, and Path of all CDR files. Click on a file and hit the Preview button to view that file.

If you want to remove or delete the file from the tool, choose the Remove or Remove All option. Otherwise, click on Next to proceed further.

On the next interface, you will see the field to choose the destination file format.

Convert CDR to JPEG

To convert CDR files to PDF, you need to follow steps 1 to 6 as mentioned above. Further, continue from step 12, directed below:

Expand the ‘Select Output File Format’ field to choose JPEG from the list of file formats.

Further, click on the Destination Path button to save the Output file on a desired location.

Finally, tap Convert to begin the CDR files to JPEG conversion.

Once the conversion is complete, you will receive a pop-up The Process has been Completed. Click Ok.

Click on the View button to see converted files at the assigned location. Tap on Home to go back to the home screen and Download CSV to download the conversion report.

Convert CDR to PDF

To convert CDR files to PDF, you need to follow steps 1 to 6 as mentioned above. Further, continue from step 12, directed below:

Choose the PDF format from the Select Output File Format field.

Here, you get an additional feature, i.e., ‘Set Password’ to encrypt and password-protect your resultant PDF. Check the Set Password checkbox to set a password to output the PDF.

(Note: This feature is not available in the Single User License)

Further, you can double-click on the file listed below. Then, double-click on the row provided for passwords under the user password section, and enter the desired password.

You can also check the Set Same Password to All option if you want to set the same password to all PDFs. Click OK.

Again, define the saving location for the output file (If required). Click on Convert to begin the process.

Once the process is complete, click OK. Further, you click on Download CSV to download the conversion report.
