Detailed Guide to Backup AOL Mailboxes on macOS

Choose the saving options as MBOX from the drop-down.

Opt for the feature Remove duplicate emails to exclude the identical emails from the backup process. Also, check the Maintain folder hierarchy to keep the folder structure.

Check the following features:

• Free up server space: It helps to delete the emails from the AOL mailboxes after the backup process.
• Skip previously migrated items: helps to exclude the already backed up emails using the MacSonik AOL backup tool.
• Migrate or backup emails without attachments: To backup only emails.

Select the Set Backup Schedule feature and set the upcoming backup for the AOL mailboxes.

If you want to filter the email for backup by a particular date range, then opt for the Mail filter option and enter the start date & end date.

Select the feature Custom folder name. It helps to save the resultant files with a folder name.

Click on Path to save and choose the saving location. Additionally, tap the Convert button to proceed the backup process.

Tap on the Download report to analyse the process report.

Select PDF as a saving option from Save/Backup/Migrate As option.

Select the required features from the software.

Also, choose the Naming convention option to save the backup files with a date format.

Now, tap the Path to save button and choose the path to save the output file. Tap the Convert button to execute the process.

Finally, completed the backup process of AOL mailboxes into PDF format on mac. Tap the Download Report button to inspect the process details in CSV format.

Select Office 365 from the option Save/Backup/Migrate As.

Enter the login credential of the Office 365 webmail account and click Sign In.

• Migrate or backup emails without attachments files:- To backup the emails only from the AOL Mail mailboxes.

Choose the feature Set backup schedule to set the next process for importing AOL mailboxes to Office 365 accounts.

If you want to import the AOL mailboxes by a specific date span, then select the Mail filter option and enter the start date and end date.

Select the Custom folder name feature and enter the name to save the output files with a chosen name.

Finally, tap on the Convert button to import the AOL mailboxes into Office 365 account.

Here, you can download the process report in CSV formats by tapping the Download Report button to inspect the process.

Choose the Gmail email client from the drop-down.

Sign In using Gmail username and app password.

Tick the option Remove duplicate emails to import the original emails and skip the copied emails from the process. Also, Maintain folder hierarchy to keep the original hierarchy of emails.

Select the feature Free up server space to delete the AOL mailboxes from the AOL account after the completion of the process.

Select the Mail filter option and enter the start date and end date to import the AOL mailboxes by a specific date span. Custom folder name feature to save the output files with a chosen name.

At last, click the Convert button to import the AOL mailboxes into Office Gmail.

Process completed. Click the Download report button to view the process details in CSV format.
