As you launch the MacSonik PDF Unlocker Tool, you will find the screen displayed below:
Software Working Process
Run the tool. Click on the Select File button to add the required PDF files. Or click on the Select Folder button to add an entire folder containing PDF files.
The tool will ask for a password for each PDF file you are willing to add. Enter the password of the files one by one and click OK.
Tap on Destination Path to assign a unique destination path to the new PDF file. Click on Next to proceed.
Next, check the Edit MetaData checkbox. Here you can edit the metadata of the added PDF files including the Author, Title, Subject, Creation Date, Modification Date, and Keywords.
You can also tick the ‘Save Attachments in Sub Folder’ checkbox to save attachment files in the subfolder.
In the Passwords section, you get three choices:
- Apply Existing User Password(s) to Output PDF to keep the Output PDF Password the same as the existing one.
- Apply No User Password to Output PDF to unlock PDF files and get the Output PDF without a password.
- Apply New User Password to Output PDF to add the new password to the new PDF.
You can choose any one of these options.
If you choose to Apply New User Password to Output PDF, enter a new user Password for the Output PDF.
