Software Working Process


A step-by-step guide to backup emails from an Office 365 account on Mac.

Step 1

Install and Launch MacSonik Office 365 backup tool.

Here, select the Backup option from the software interface.

Enter the user-id & password and then click on the Sign In button.

Note: (Enable Assign impersonation rights to include the sub account associated with the login account)

After that, the software will display the accounts. Check the Mailbox option from the right side of the software interface.

Now, click the Next button to move the process further.

Again the software will fetch and display the mailbox folder from the selected Office 365 account.

Check the mailbox folder that you need to back up and hit the Next button.

Choose PDF from the displayed drop-down symbol.

Opt for the software feature Remove duplicate emails to remove the copied emails from the process.

Backup Office 365 Mailboxes into PST Format on macOS

Repeat step no. 1 to 7, If you want to backup Office 365 mailboxes into PST format on the Mac operating system.

Choose the saving format as PST from the drop-down.

Select the feature Remove duplicate emails to exclude the duplicate emails from the backup process. Additionally, check the option Split resultant PST and enter the criteria to split PST files.

Select the option Mail filter and Task filter also enter the required dates to back up the required emails within a date range.

Migrate Office 365 Emails to Gmail Email Client on Mac

Follow the working procedures from 1 to 7 to migrate Office 365 mailboxes to Gmail on the Mac operating system.
