How to Create App-Specific Password in iCloud

An app-specific password is created to Log in to the iCloud account in any Third-party software/application.

Steps to Generate App Password

Step 1: Sign in with your Apple Mail credentials

Step 2: Now, click on the Account settings option.

Step 3: After that, tap on the Manage option under the Apple ID.

Step 4: Again Sign in with the Apple ID to verify your mail account.

Step 5: Then, click on the App-specific passwords tab.

Step 6: Here, press the Generate an app-specific password option to generate the app password.

Step 7: Finally, enter the App name and hit the Create button.

Step 8: At last, you can view your 16 letters app-specific password and then press the Done button.

Steps to Turn On Two-Step Verification

Step 1: Log in with your Apple Mail ID and Password.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the Account Settings option.

Step 3: Now, tap the Manage option below the Apple ID.

Step 4: After that, verify your mail account by clicking on the Sign-in button.

Step 5: In the Sign-in and security tab select the Account security option.

Step 6: Then, tap on the + sign to add the trusted device.

Step 7: Choose the Country code and enter the Phone number. Press Continue.

Step 7: At last, enter the Verification Code received on your given mobile number and tap on the Continue button to turn on the two-factor authentication.
