Steps to Convert AWS emails into PST file format on mac.
Download and Launch the MacSonik AWS Backup Tool.
Sign in with your User Name, Password, and Amazon Domain Name
Here you can see the tree-structured list of Amazon Workmail mailbox items.
Tick the Mailbox items that you want to convert to migrate and click Next.
Choose the saving format from the save-as menu. Here we are choosing PST as the saving option.
Step 6: Select the following options if required:
- Remove Duplicate Mail: This feature eliminates all similar emails from the selected items.
- Maintain Folder Hierarchy: It keeps the original folder hierarchy intact during the whole process.
You can also check the below additional features:
- Skip Previously Migrated Items: Using this option you can skip the items that are already migrated.
- Migrate or Backup Emails without Attachment Files: This feature allows the users to proceed without including attachments.
- Split Resultant PST: This option enables to split the oversized PST file into smaller sections.
- Set Backup Schedule: Tick this feature to schedule your backup at a later date.
Check the Mail Filter option to Convert/Migrate/Backup AWS emails falling under a specific date range
Use the Custom Folder Name option to assign a customized name to the resulting file/folder. You can also click the Path to Save option to provide a custom saving location to the output file/folder.
When you are done with the whole selection process, click the Convert button to start conversion.
Lastly, tap the Download Report button to get the report of the whole process. You can also click the Convert Again button to convert OLM files into different formats.
Migrate AWS Emails to Gmail Email on Mac
Follow the above-stated steps from 1 to 4 to migrate AWS emails to Gmail on mac OS.
Choose Gmail as the saving format from the Save/Backup/Migrate As menu.
Login with the Username and Password of the selected Email client and click the Sign In button.
Further, tick the following features if required.
- Remove Duplicate Mail: Use this option to remove all similar emails during the conversion/migration.
- Maintain Folder Hierarchy: Tick this option to keep the original folder hierarchy intact during the whole process.
- Free up Server Space: Using this feature you can free up your server space after the process is completed.
Further, you can also check these features:
- Skip Previously Migrated Items: You can skip the items that are already migrated in the previous migration/conversion
- Migrate or Backup Emails Without Attachment Files: This option will exclude the attachment files from the process
- Set Backup Schedule:Using this feature you can set your backup schedule at a later date and time.
Use this Mail Filter option to convert specific emails falling under a specific date range.
Click the Custom Folder Name option to assign a customized name to the resulting folder.
Click the Convert button to start the migration process.
Lastly, you can check the Status, Duration, Message Count, and Path of the whole process. To see the whole report of the process click on the Download Report option. Further, you may also click the Convert Again button to convert or migrate the emails into different formats.
